Bill Dykes
Bill has significant experience working at Board and Executive level and identifies “Inspirational Leadership” as the main differentiator for business success.
He is an accredited and experienced coach and has worked with CEO’s, Directors and Senior managers within Technology, Pharmaceutical and Recruitment business as well as in the Public Sector.
Along with executive coaching , Bill also provides business consultancy with particular emphasis on top team development and change management.
Bill’s career has included roles within Retail, Catering and Leisure and High Street Recruitment, working with both Adecco and Select Appointments. He joined Select’s board in 2002 with responsibility for HR, Quality and Legal and also provided support to Vedior the UK parent company. Bill has led the people aspects of acquisitions, mergers and company restructuring in addition to the day to day responsibilities of a plc board member. This was his last corporate role before he set up his consultancy and coaching business in 2006.
Bill is an accredited coach with the Leadership Trust an organisation dedicated to enhancing and influencing Leadership and its development in the UK and Europe. He first attended a Leadership in Management programme in 1992 and has been involved as an associate visiting tutor since 1993 and more recently as a coach and a course director. He is a past member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development has a post graduate diploma in management studies and is qualified in occupational testing.
Bill brings a mature, commercially focussed, energetic and pragmatic approach to business, he understands the value of straight forward and uncomplicated solutions which are aligned to the delivery of the business strategy and the delivery of commercial goals.
